But......maybe he'd be happy going to Dundee and playing in the Championship? Who knows? Speaks volumes for the boys ambition if that's the case. Possibly why MM doesn't play him. Maybe he's not fully committed to being the best he can be and he's no that bathered about giving 100% (it seems that way in certain games) and therefore the manager isn't bathered about playing him.
Well there certainly is a reason why he doesent play him and he knows best i suppose, we will find out soon enough though.
Ps wonder if they would take Adam King and pay for half his wages coz he’s defo no getting a game.

The debate rages on & I never thought wee Paul had sufficient status or was important enough to divide opinion so much. What about using this factor to assess him - how many of the other 11 SPFL Prem teams would he get a start for? I'd say just 2 or 3. Or how about, who you would prefer on the weeng, Paul McMullan or Craig Conway? I get the impession that Mellon didn't take to him straight away & still doesn't. Mellon, I'll bet, is the sort of manager who watches the players like a hawk in training 5 days a week and maybe doesn't see McMullan as 'improveable' - his mantra. Anyway he's had a reasonable innings here & there's nothing wrong with him taking his tools elsewhere.

I guess part of it is there is that early promise and he runs at defenders. every time im like if he could just deliver it or find a man he would be a very good player. Of course he would be playing at a higher level too. Afraid to say his level is down a division. Saying that every time he gets the ball and starts a run i think here we go then usually pah! Excellent as a celtic youth and could be a squad player if we had the luxury of extra cashbut if he goes in transfer window and we get a creator in then im fine with that. does fuchs have a brother?

Benji wanting a move reading this

Siegrist says to VIEW: "It could be an interesting transfer period, I'll just let it come to me." He emphasizes: "I'm happy at Dundee United and grateful that they put me in this shop window." But he also says: “My goal is to play at the highest level. I am ready for the next step. "

And Schalke? Siegrist refers to his advisor: “He does this work for me. But of course: the Bundesliga would be very attractive! "

Transfer as financial aid for ailing club?
Will he still change this winter? Possible! This will also depend on the offer received by Dundee United. With the "Tangerines", the goalie from Therwil BL still has a contract until May 2022. If a lucrative offer flutters in, the club, which is economically ailing due to Corona, will probably let its number one go. The transfer fee could provide financial relief, at least temporarily.

Siegrist himself remains calm about his future: "As long as my performance is right, I am certainly in a strong position."

Don't think that will surprise anyone. Every player probably 'wants a move' when the clubs mentioned are a real possibility.

Yeah, good luck to Benji. He's certainly earned any big move that comes his way.

Going by the St J cup game you'd have to say yes! I know Alexander was raving about Jack Newman on DUTV a couple of months back. Saying he exceeded the expectations they had of him before he joined. He was in the Scotland U19 squad this season too. If Benji does go in the summer I'd say we'd need to get Newman out on Loan and bring someone in who is at the same level or better than Deniz and those two can battle it out.

If we get suitable bids he and possibly LOA are away this month, that's already been hinted at during the FED meeting. Its a worry of course if teams below us bring players in and we weaken the squad.
With the injuries we have to key players at the moment it would be suicide to let anyone go unless very good replacements are brought in.
I know some will say its only the goalie but he has won us more points this season than LOA with the tactics employed and that's a FACT.
