Yeah, as I said, mine were 'theoretical'

But here's a theory people won't like, Joao Alves is now 1/2 on, if you can believe this site.

    https://www.bettingodds.com/thesackr...s/notts-county

    And this one

    https://www.oddschecker.com/football...manent-manager

But all based on Bet Victor

I liked Moniz, he was crazy, but was entertaining. He'd be well suited to the club now though
I assume you didnt go to Salford then.. The guy was a disaster

I reckon Des Buckingham will get a look in. Out of work at the moment, but may fit in with the Brothers? plan.

That's who I would like. Some 4-1-4-1 might be refreshing

I'd be happy with Buckingham. He has experience at a higher level and a promotion under his belt. Would be a change but still within the similar style we play.

If it were up to me, I'd go for either Evatt or Brennan, although the latter would take some compensation. I think we'd get promoted next season with either of those in charge. Both big personalities and serial winners. Can't see either happening though.

If Alves gets the job I'll be lost for words. Don't do it Notts!

100% agree with all that and it will be 100% not Alves.

I'll have a tenner on Alves. My neighbour's son's friend's dad overheard two milkmen talking about it - and they go to Portugal on holiday!

I've posted before that I would love to see that list & think it would probably raise some eyebrows. I do believe that it was the right decision if only ro unite the fans but must confess I'm concerned who we might end up with, I would think that any decent manager would do their homework before applying & the thing that would probably jump out( not forgetting that they wouldn't have witnessed most of the dross that we have) is that Maynard was sacked after taking us to the POs despite having possibly his best 2 players sold & not replaced & suffering a horrendous season of injuries to his remaining top players, it hardly gives you a sense of job security & any experienced coach could be put off by the seemingly lack of both financial & personal support that he could expect from those above. As I say I'm not sorry SMs gone & I truly hope that the next manager has a bit more charisma, whoever it is I will try my best to get behind them from day one & hope others do as this was not the case with Maynard. I think most decent managers would look at the players we had available for the last third of the season and back themselves to have got Notts promoted with that group. Our next head coach and his assistants need to be able to inspire the players - something SM/Alves were consistently unable to do.
