Is there a single post by a Rangers fan on here being touchy about this?

Spiers is a nonentity but he's right about McCoist. He's never a fitba manager.

Stewarty, can you the Journalists in Scotland that you think are
"Objective. Non Biased, Fair, and above all else Honest"?

Unfortunately Speirs is one of the most prominent sports Journalists in Scotland - a big fish in a small pond, if you will - rather than a non-entity. I agree with his (and your) assessment of McCoist but out of curiosity, who would you (as a rangers fan) have in his place? Tango Calderwood? Bomber Broon? (Incidentally, I'm not being facetious, it's a genuine question)

Dunno, to be honest. I just don't think McCoist has got what it takes.

I'm certain we could get a better manager in for less than £400,000pa. Stuart McCall or Jimmy Nicholl are two who would be on my list of potential successors.

I'm not a TR fan but I think Butcher or McCall, both successful players with rangers of old, and doing decent jobs at their current clubs could be tempted to manage TR when they reach the top tier - which I think is inevitable, even under McCoist.

When you're paying over 400K per anum to manage a squad costing multiples of your league opponents I think there'd be no problem attracting candidates.
