At least Im on topic though Poque...

I genuinely thought they 2 had played more than that... What about Gerry Creaney and Tony Cascarino then? Quality strikers from cellick's halcyon days, Im sure you would agree.

If Griffiths is the best we sign this window it's time to head to the car park for me. We've went from signing 6 million Steven Fletcher - even though it was a lot of rubbish - to signing a guy that's not a regular for Wolves.

The board are ripping the absolute pysh.

Griffiths would score plenty for you in the SPFL. The CL is a different matter though.

Aye I suppose you are on topic...Creaney was a decent striker in a very poor Celtic team but I had no time for Cascarino who was a complete dud...if you want to talk about quality Celtic strikers then the likes of McAvennie, Nicholas, McGee, Walker, McClair would be the ones from about that era!

A wee bit extreme Daniel albeit I think we should be putting the boat out for a proven goal-scorer...whether Celtic can actually attract a top goal-scorer to Scotland and pay the wages is another matter.

I was there when he scored his first goal for you v us at Parkhead. And then he got sent off.

    You won 3-1 that day.

We don't need Griffiths to win the league. It'll be another collecting a wage who will maybe start 1 game in 3, it would be a totally unnecessary signing.

I think Celtic need a proven goal-scorer to replace Hooper??

Unfortunately that wee rodent would score goals for fun in the league and cups if he played for Celtic.

He'd be mince in Europe though
