    Celtic Make Griffiths Enquiry

Celtic still after Leigh Griffiths according to reports and with the player publicly stating that "it would be an honour to play for Celtic" it may well happen before the next weeks transfer deadline?

Celtic have launched a further enquiry over the availability of Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths.

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has opened the door to a A?1million move after placing a call to Molineux counterpart Jez Moxey.

Well at least he is a proven goal-scorer at SPFL level so for A?1m Celtic could grab a bargain!

    1mill a bargain?

Your strikers have been **** given the standard they are up against week in week out so Griffiths should improve things for the yahoo.

Aye I would say A?1m is a bargain for Griffiths.

As for our misfiring strikers well the void from Hooper leaving was never filled but Commons has been immense this season with his goals and all round play...as for the **** Celtic are up against that's a wee bit derogatory against the likes of Aberdeen, Hibernian, Motherwell etc!!!

A decent striker a la Gerry Britton, Wayne Biggins or Stuart Slater would score at least 40 goals a season against this standard of opposition..

Changed days for cellick fhans indeed...

In what way is it changed days for Celtic fans??

Celtic run a financially viable club. You wont see Celtic go bust and into liquidation.

Because even though cellick are the 7th biggest club in the world, they no longer seem able to attract strikers of the calibre previously mentioned. See Puki and Balde for proof of this...

As a "hibs" fan why would you even post a comment like that? This is clearly a cellick related topic..

No wonder this board is dying a death when clowns jump on every thread and change it to whatever subject, person or topic they are obsessed with...

IMT talking his usual drivel again..."calibre of the strikers previously mentioned"...well Britton and Biggins didn't even make a dozen appearances for Celtic between themselves and both never scored a fecking goal for Celtic!!!

As for Slater he was a winger.
