pretty much sums up tom cleverly. I'm a strong believer that if mark noble played alongside quality players, such as a yaya toure, then he would receive the accolade he deserves.

he's got great vision and is also a player willing to do the dirty work

He seems to be everybody's favourite scapegoat, but getting picked by England and Manchester United means you must have something about you.

But we know better than the likes of Fabio Capello, Roy Hodgson and Sir Alex Ferguson, don't we?
Evidently we do. When I mentioned that imo Carlton Cole was not a lot different to Andy Carroll (before he joined us btw) and had won England caps the managers who had awarded him said caps were derided as know nothing numpties.

It seems that scudettos in Italy, championships in Spain and Champions league successes mean nothing if there is a point to be made.
Btw I can't see what Cleverly's all about, but I've never won the Champions league so I guess it doesn't matter.

Because the Glazers were re-financing their debt and floating on the stock exchange so only had Ai26m to spend. Fergie used his paltry seasonal budget on Van Persie and he thought the Midfield would be ok for a season with Carrick, Scholes, Pogba & Jones.

Scholes couldn't carry on, Pogba demanded a move to Juve following a fall out with Sir Alex, Jones spent the season covering constant injurys to Rafael & Vidic and I think Carrick was out for a long period too.

Cleverly was due to continue his loan spell with Martinez at Wigan but Fergie cancelled it.

He was never one of Fergusons favourite players otherwise he wouldn't have sat on the bench so many times whilst an ageing Ryan Giggs and a defender (Jones or Smalling) started ahead of him in midfield.

    He was going to

It seems that people are getting a tad irate that Noble isn't getting international recognition.

Noble's having a very good season and, imo, is as good (on the basis of what I've seen) as Cleverly.

Having said that though he hasn't experience of the top level (Champions League). Not his fault granted but I guess Hodgson thinks it matters.

And if he was as good, consistently, as some are saying I think we'd have had a struggle holding on to him these past few years.

Personally I'd rather he stayed fit for our run in than fanny around in some meaningless training match, running the risk of getting injured.

Good mate, it's boring when everyone thinks the same but how dare you suggest Fergie knows more about football than me.

Anyway, I'm more than happy to have a cheeky fiver donated to Bobby Moores Cancer trust that he'll be shipped out to a mid table club within 2 years never mind before he's 30.

In fact I would be surprised if he significantly adds to his England Caps during competitive games.

I have reluctantly been forced to leave the board for boringly and repetitively voicing my dislike of Sam Allardyce.

I don't fancy Tom Cleverly or the world class coach Woy Hodgeson much either. Damn it I keep repeating myself
