    Sounds like they were the better team. Why is McC playing will in a holding role. he ****ed up today. playoffs at best now.

    I thought our success to date has been based on a fluid but solid 4-3-3 allowing Hughes to often be our most advanced player or at least, being heavily involved in the last third.

    Eustace (or a n other competent defensive midfielder) give you that confidence to allow you to have almost a front 5 with the ball AND for the fullbacks to get involved.

    So what did we do?

    Went with Hughes as the deep lying midfield playmaker.
    Lots of possession that basically got us nowhere.
    Fullbacks almost non existent as an attacking force.
    Creativity in the last third was v

    Don't be disheartened you guys. Derby are possibly the best side to visit Turf Moor, and the performance levels reached when you beat QPR suggests you have enough in your locker, even if it means the play-offs.

    You'll be fine.

    best post ever.your alright with martin doing it week in week out getting you free kicks and penalties but shoe on the other foot its wrong.
    why was martin banned again?

    Did you not see the footage? the ref ****ed up as our manager, the burnley manager, all the pundits, and newspaper reports have said. Go wash some more cars.

    Did you actually read what is written? Where have I said they were trying to con the ref into awarding free kicks and penalties? I have clearly stated that they were faking injury to run down the clock and break up play. Martin goes down easy to try and win free kicks, not to wast
