    vs. Millwall

What do people think about tomorrow's game? What team do you think we'll field, and what do you think the result will be?

It's a tough one regarding player selection. Russell didn't impress and was taken off at half time, but does that warrant an instant withdrawal from the starting XI? Similarly, Dawkins didn't shine last week either. Bamford looked lively when he came on, and of course, there's Ward to come back, who was comletely rested last week. So, it's anyone's guess.

As for Martin being suspended, I can see Sammon getting the nod after a decent half vs. Burnley.

Bryson may come in for Hendrick who played 90 minutes in the week.

As for the result, I'm going 3-0.

It will be interesting to see how we do line up. I personally would like us to start 442 tomorrow, without Martin holding the ball up and the way the past few home games have gone with it having to be changed at half time i'd like us to play 2 up from the off plus Martin is key to the way we normally play. I think it would be harsh on either Russell or Dawkins to be dropped because nobody exactly shone in the first half last week and Russell got taken off more down to Martins red card and a change in tactics more than because of his performance.

Ward and Hendrick both played midweek so I expect to see them both on the bench, especially Ward with his dodgy hamstrings.

I'd like us to line up...

Grant - Wisdom Keogh Buxton Forsyth - Russell Bryson Hughes Dawkins - Sammon Bamford

(Legzdins, Whitbread, Hendrick, Thorne, Eustace, Ward, Bennett)

Sammon and Bamford linked up well second half against Burnley. Russell and Bamford can always rotate too.

But I think we will line up...

    Grant

A must win game if we are to get back with a chance for automatic promotion. They can't afford to lose so will be a tough game. Another 1-0 will do for me.

Sammon must play. This is his moment.
And also Russell. I can see Russell & Sammon working well if Russell plays in the hole and times his runs off Sammon's feeds.
Toss up {ohhh Matron!} between Ward and Dawkins...Possibly Dawkins to come on as impact sub after 65 mins for Ward.

We need a response to put us back up there after Burnley.
Key issue is Eustace? Bryson must play...we missed him last week.

That Bristolian { Holloway} must be blasted away.

I'm hoping to see the following

    Grant
    Wisdom Keogh Buxton Forsyth
    Hughes Eustace Bryson
    Russell Sammon Ward

I think Dawkins and Bamford have been "ordinary" starters but have been game changers from the bench. With Ward, you tend to know in the first 30 mins if he's on his game so start with him.
Russell should start because he has shown glimpses of the quality I think he has and to prove it, needs games, not 10 minute cameos.
Can Sammon do the Martin role? I

I can not see for the life of me why he doesn't give George Thorne a run out. Otherwise there was no point in even bringing the lad here in the first place. The games gone very flat.

It sounded like Clough's Derby out there today.

Hendrick, Bryson and Hughes in the same midfield does not work. I thought we had that clearly established.

Goodness knows why McClaren thought to give that formation a shot again.

For the first time since McClaren arrived, I think I can say this is a tactical failure from the management team.

    Do you agree?
