Borrow what you like, spend what you like, go bankrupt, your problem. transfer fees should be paid upfront, or no deal cause it dont need to be someone elses.( The problem).
Fining clubs that are short on readies (going too far into the red), idiocy.
And its never going to be a level playing field, Man ure and their ilk can live on other income other than what they get from the league etc, just because who they are.

Agree with Whisky, in every other walk of life, a company can borrow beyond their means. Its called speculating to accumulate. Yes, it goes pear shaped sometimes but so be it. The clubs know the score and so do the owners. I personally think that any owner that comes into a club can do what they like but upon leaving must underwrite the difference between the debt that they inherited and the debt they leave. That way they are accountable but during their reign they can do what they like.
If we didn't have the Diamanti situations within the game it would implode imo!
As regards the motorway situation...what happens if there is a smashup in the fast lane or the slow lane take you off your route via roadworks or diversion?
At two hundred miles an hour...who pays for the petrol????

FFP - The worst idea ever. Kill football.
Everybody equal = boring.
You've got to have someone to aim at, to dislike, to moan about or it all gets very boring.
