Everton always used to be our bogey side back in the day and like others, I'm surprised at Baz's stats.

Tough game, a point would be nice.

Anyway first things first. About time we got a goal for starters.
You'll be pleased to know that having been to the last 2 games, where we failed to score at all, I am not going to the game tomorrow - enjoy the goal feast.
OK, that was a bit of wishful thinking. Then I join the game 6 minutes in and we are already winning 1 - 0

Notice Roy is there. Quick note. Forget forwards blast the ball at defenders.

Bit unfortunate for Everton today - would be nice if we can get a goal after all the shots on goal though!

Is it too late for Clyne to make Roy's squad?

Walker still out injured, and Everton's wonder boy, Deufelou was well and truly in Clyne's pocket.
Immense performance. No diving in, just taking the ball off his toe, and still had time to get the assist for the second OG.

Thought we deserved the win despite the unfortunate goals, difficulty in finishing ourselves and a number of iffy refereeing calls (for both teams).
Good to see more youngsters getting a go as well.

"You score 2 goals and still don't sing"
"We are Southampton, we don't need to score"

    I laughed till I stopped.

Missed the first one, but loved "Who needs Rodriguez we have your back four"
