    Everton game

No doubt about it that it will be a very tough game on Saturday but they have 3 important/good players out (Distin, Jagielka & Mirallas) which is promising. They'll have to have 2 cb's with not alot of experience playing together playing, which hopefully could work in our favour.

How often have opposition injures played to our advantage. I am just looking forward to the game, hoping the team selected will put on a performance.

    Need to keep Lukaku quiet.

Bloody bogey side. Even with their second string we would not beat them. Never made sense to me all this bogey team stuff. I mean we have new owners, new fans, new manager, new players and still we cant beat the same sides...cannot be mental thing as they are all new...so what causes this?

This is where our tactics could get sorely tested.
With Lukaku and Deulofeu, Everton have so much pace and trickery to hit us on the break, that Fonte will probably have a sleepless night.

Having said that, we'll probably keep them quiet and Baines will score from a free kick/penalty awarded for one of those ball to hand incidents that are never given to us.

I also had Everton as a bogey side, but this only seems to apply for games at Goodison.

Just seen a preview, on Sky Sports website, which says our last 12 home games, against Everton has included 6 wins, 5 draws and just 1 loss.
    Surprised me.

Harv, why doesn't the old man frequent the board any more? I see you enter a score prediction for him every week.
Tell him to get his lazy arse in gear and do it himself

    That stat surprises me too
Whenever i think of Everton i can't help but think about THAT game in 1984, the most disappointed i've ever been in over 30 years of supporting Saints.
Can't make tomorrows game but i can't see us getting much out of it if i'm honest, just a goal from open play would be nice

'84 was terrible and then guess who we got for our century game

Anyway first things first. About time we got a goal for starters.
You'll be pleased to know that having been to the last 2 games, where we failed to score at all, I am not going to the game tomorrow - enjoy the goal feast.
