Cost-cutting will probably benefit Scottish football in the long run.

I don't think Celtic would've appointed a relative unknown if they'd had the money to appoint a big. That's economics.

its not just the players its the coaches , same for Scotland all the other countries passed us by tactics and technique wise in the last 20 years and we still havent really realised it or acted on it

5.5 billion pounds tv money was pumped into the EPL this season. Less than 1% will trickle down to the lower leagues - 99% is lost to players and agents. Great tv, but it does f*ck all for the structure of the national game.

Look at Hull City and what's happened with their badge in the last couple of days. Supporters are treated with nothing but contempt.
