    Why doesn't Fawaz cover the loses out of the millions he has? He's allowed to do so under FFP but not as a loan. Surely if Premier League football is the aim then you'd take the hit for a season or two with the hope of getting to the promised land?

    No he can't, he could if Forest were in the League One, but the rules are different in the Championship. Last season he could have put in 5M of his own money and loan the club 3M. This season the limits I believe is 6M, 3M of his own money and 3M loan.

    The FFP reason doesn't make much sense! we are now in the 14-15 financial year and it doesn't matter when you sell them throughout the year so you may as well wait for the best price, you know how mad managers go on transfer deadline day. I would imagine that wages would not be a big issue, the daft wages (by comparison) are usually given when you change clubs.

    Here's SP's interview. Does he look furious or disappointed?

    Anyway if I was a Toon fan, I would be disappointed. You sign 2 players who won't kick a ball for a year and you have to pay their wages? Darlow as a keeper ain't so bad , but Lascelles as a defender, he can get injured or lose form. - view external link

    without doubt SP is a top pro one of the very best, sadly they are very few and far between these days, England under 21's he was poorly treated by everyone involved and they should be ashamed of themselves, any other manager pratts like Neil Warplank would of walked by now not our SP mate, COYR
