i think we all knew it was ffp.people still dont understand that you have to get money in and the owner cant just put it in himself.

Not quite. He knew about the offer and said it wasn't good enough. He felt he could get more.
The shocking bit was when he found out from Lascelles, that he had a medical at Newcy and that the deal was going on without his knowledge.

what i will say is i know its not what we wanted for the pair but to have them on loan and pay them nothing is the good part to the deal.
what a breath of fresh air SP is,tells it how it is but gets his head down and cracks on.unlike someone who was here last time who would go on and on and on and on.

I agree but can you not remember maj and blackstock's form after signing 4 yr deals.

We could do with getting him tied up though I agree. At least we will be able to get a profit for them.

Fact is that unless we get promoted, we'll have to sell a player or two every season. At least now we have players worth something

Yes Pearce knew of the offer, but in no way has he been kept up to date. If Pearce was lying in public, the owner would have grounds to sack him.
