    Need I go on?

You don't go away to teams like Sarfend to try for a 0 - 0 or 1 - 1 scoreline when you are chasing promotion, Andy! What's got into you? Or the players for that matter?
I think that sums it up about right.

I think the players are too comfortable. Paid enough for their lifestyle and don't want to risk higher expectations incase they can't meet them or just want to keep things as they are for as long as possible.

For a club that's had alot of cash donated by fans (training pitch etc) and is fan owned I think some riot acts need to be read.

As frustrating as it has been, i'm nowhere near crisis point.

We have been unconvincing a lot of the time, and we don't appear to have the confidence to believe we will win every game we play, and the substance and character to back that up. Yet!

Jed Wallace, a lack of attacking wing back, and striker or strikers who pick themselves are a bit of a headache right now.

:-D but on the bright side this league is such utter and complete dross, that you can have wobbles, and still be within striking distance of the automatic promotion places...it really is that bad.

Even last season, after 2 sacked managers and general crap, we put on a run at the end and finished 12 points short...only 4 wins...off the last play off place. And that was from being 3rd from bottom at one stage.

On that basis, and given where we are now, we can wobble and plod on until the turn of the year, allowing AA to find that winning formula, and still go up. :-D

Worth remembering that about this time of last season Scunny were 20th.

They won the League didn't they?

Sam Winnall of Scunny was the leading league goal scorer with 23 goals Bc. The three teams who went up automatically each scored between 68 and 71 goals. So far we've managed a miserly 10 in what is a pretty ordinary league

Personally,I don't want us to dribble up the table and sneak a promotion via the playoffs..
I would like us to consolidate and prepare ourselves for next season when we will go up UNBEATEN.

Neither do I. Dribbling up the pitch would be better.

Seems to me the Administration side of the club is doing a good job.
However the footballing side is doing their job poorly. We appear to have complacency throughout the playing staff, none of whom seem that bothered whether we win or lose. Awford is clearly incapable of motivating them so instead tinkers with the team both in terms of who his best team is and in which formation they should play in. We definitely need someone to instil some urgency in our play and discipline in our players.
Looks like we are in for another disappointing season and I have serious doubts as to Awford surviving it. He has a lot of goodwill with the fans but they won't be keen on another season of struggle, the voices of the dissenters will soon be heard if the slump continues.
Confess I have never been one of Awford's fans. Hope he proves me wrong.
