Probably ungentlemanly conduct or taking the piss
Did he smile or something similar ?
I don't know I didn't go last night,Express said he was booked for "Banter"
Something unusual went on for sure. I saw a comment elsewhere regarding his yellow that "though shall not have a sense of humour. To be fair on the ref he had no option for me having cautioned their player in the first half had no option than to issue a 2nd yellow with Big Pat in full flight. As for the penalty it couldn't be ignored. I wish more would give them and then maybe we could lessen all the pushing, shoving, holding etc that goes on... Have a great day all of you
Was pleased to meet Chiswick at last night's game. He's even taller than TM, Chis is probably the tallest midget I've ever seen.
Says he takes all this very seriously and posts from the heart every time. A true Pompey fan is my guess.
Also said he loves quizzes as it allows him to demonstrate how thick the Welsh are.![]()
A delight to meet Bladder too. Although very disturbing to see that even for a man of his advanced age, the years have not been kind!!
Didn't Westcarr get booked for time wasting? One min he's lining up to take a free kick, next min he's retrieving the ball. How did the ball get to where he was getting it from was what I missed.
And as for the diasallowed goal, I was a long way from it, but was the cross not backwards to Storey? Therefore he can't be offside.
Regarding westcarr - he placed the ball for a free kick, and the ref told him to take it back towards the touch line. He moved it back a foot and the ref still wasn't happy, so he jokingly placed it behind the touch line.
Bit like gazza getting a yellow card for picking up the card the ref dropped and showing it to him. Possibly in the rules but I think most refs would have taken it as a bit of banter. Not much chance of building relationships with players during a game with that attitude, although I've no idea if westcarr made any comments to push the joke a bit too far.
