It's not over I'm afraid, they need revenue. I can see one of two things happening, either they are going to make us pay to use the site one way or another, or in the near future it will shut down and be cast off into cyber space.

If the lads on here want to carry on posting together then alternative accommodation is going to have to be seriously looked into.

I wonder if Sadlad has a link to that site which was set up and he was chief moderator? A few of us briefly started posting on there and then it died. The link will be on here somewhere but I'll be b uggered if I'm going to find it.

Nice to see you posting on Ramarena, it is a good site. Decent folk on there (there are a couple who act like prats, but I have not seen them on there for a while)

Chadlad can be a bit controversial, but I reckon he is just up your street and you will have some good banter with him. I also see that Rattea has also joined so you can cross swords with him again.

The thing is, this board was set up under very similar circumstances, when our original Board was taken over and became untenable. If they can set up a thriving Board, which I believe was free, so can folk on here, just in case this place goes tits up. Or should I say when it goes tits up.

It might be worth asking Alkingsmill, he was the one who set it up originally and he should be able to provide some guidance on what to do.
