Terry Hennessy was definitely playing that day against Arsenal, i couldnt help but notice his bald head several times.

Yes that wasn't a bad team and most of the top sides got a thumping at that time. I did not fully notice who was playing that day, but without watching it again I reckon it was;
Colin Boulton
Ronnie Webster
David Nish
Roy MacFarland
Colin Todd
Terry Hennessey?
Archie Gemmill
John McGovern (aka rubber legs)
Big Roger Davis
Kevin Hector (aka Zak)
Alan Hinton (aka Gladys)
I am guessing the sub would have been one of the following
John O,Hare (aka Solly)
Alan Durban
Henry Newton
Steve Powell
Rod Thomas?

Here's another I have just found from a few years earlier. Officially there were 42,000 in the BBG that day, but I know they opened the gates that day to let people in to avoid delaying the game. It was estimated that nearer 50,000 were in the ground that day and it was like a sardine can in most of the ground. If they had let people into the paddock too ( the area closest to the pitch under the main stand) there would probably have been more because I knew a few folk that did not get in that day and they were really miffed. Luckily I had my season ticket in those days.
Gladys did his bit again that day too. - view external link
