It wasn't so bad for me. It was a night dive and I was struggling. I surfaced and headed straight for the boat's toilet. There's an unwritten rule that when the boat's moored up you don't flush the bog, but when you've just pebble dashed it you can hardly leave it. So I flushed and unfortunately those still underwater resurfaced in the dark into my mess!!

    I wasn't that popular!!

We had a top week overall, but really not sure it's a honeymoon place unless you want to do lots of diving.
Chicky, i would not worry though cause i believe your a bit of a Floater anyway !

Just wondered if anyone who posts on here has been and what their thoughts of it were
If you want to relax by the pool with access to the beach from your hotel then sharm is great for that, but if you're thinking of going to see the pyramids while you're there just bare in mind that it's a six hour drive from Sharm El Sheik to Cairo.
The last time I went to Sharm you had the nice 5 star hotels on one side of the road, all blocking outside access to the beach, with the poor living in tin huts on the other side, sat in the shacks watching the other half live

Never accept the first price you're given and always haggle with them. Trust no one, don't let anyone use your camera to take a picture for you as they will want money before giving you your camera back. The police and airport police are also corrupt.
But don't let that put you off, just be careful and you wil

Thanks one and all for the feedback, i shall pass it on to the home secretary

The plan is to do as little as possible and sit by a pool so it sounds perfect for our needs

From what little I know everything is all inclusive so your plan should work well.

Never appealed to me so actually this is a good thread to see what others think of places you might not have considered.
