Mick, you must continue to comment on here. Always worth reading. I don't agree with everything you say (would be a sad world if we all thought the same, maybe that would be the case in Russia) and I certainly disagree about Greg Leigh who has been impressive in recent months. However, I don't think he was at the top of his game yesterday but I would want to persevere with him as I think he is a ***** cog in the machine. Carry in Alexmick![/quo

Mick, you are not been controversial, you are just posting your opinion.

The idea of a supporters forum is to open a thread for discussion and then any member is open to offer their opinion.

Unfortunately on this topic it hasn't been easy to find someone who agrees with what you posted.

Don't stop posting just stop been so sensitive when people don't share the same view.

I can only assume that you are a young person maybe even a student, perhaps when you get as old as me (40's) you will realise that other people's opinions are to be welcomed ,and debated fervently ,not to be shied away from

I am not being sensitive at all...I welcome other people's opinions. It was the fact that a thread was opened solely by another for the purpose of highlighting something I said in another thread that I object to. It could easily have been discussed in the aforementioned thread.

I am really grateful to you tonight Supercrewe. You

I'm not sure that anybody in the team should be criticised after the performance against Fleetwood. Fleetwood are one of the better teams in league 1 and despite there support are one of the best financed teams. They came to Crewe full of confidence and apparently they believed they were going to go away with a 3-1 win. They also stated that Crewe havn't got anything apart from a good chippie across the road. Believe me I have been to Fleetwood and they haven't even got that. However I think we made Fleetwood look an average side yesterday, we didn't allow them to play and despite there physical approach and premiership defenders we were worthy winners. There was even one individual who sat in the main stand shouting at Davies to get Haber off just 3 minutes before he scored. Strangely enough we didn't hear the idiot after that. So there has been plenty of opportunities to criticise the team this season so when we have as a team played well and got that result then I don't believe its

At the Yeovil game, the chap next to me couldn't wait to criticise Leigh, no matter what he did.
Some fans just can't seem to take to some players and cannot see the good for the bad.

For me, the lad's only 20, looks a good prospect, is still learning the game and with his parent club's wealth, will probably have to move on to get regular games.
If that's us, I'd take that!

Think it's unfair to criticize Leigh as he had done a great job but also think it's a forum where fans should be able to discuss - there is certainly one individual on here who jumps on everything negative and clearly isn't an Alex fan

That aside think Leigh has done remarkably well or maybe we should have kept molyneux??? ;-)

With tootle out think Leigh Guthrie Turton and Baillie have filled full back roles comendably

Just to add to the mix IMO Greg Leigh was the better of the two wing backs/backs on Saturday. His linking with the midfielders and his attacking flair is good He is also speedy and works hard at his defensive duties. Deserves his regular place in the team and all round is a good loanee.

On the game I thought that it was our best display of the season. A much better display than the Yeovil game. We knitted as a team, were solid all round and controlled most of the game For the most Fleetwood were confused and did not seem to have an answer to our tactics.

Personally I have no problem with any supporters voicing their opinions. I love getting the opportunity to disagree.

Of all the games to pick to criticise someone, I think the Fleetwood game was about the worst one possible this season.

It was an immense TEAM performance with everyone contributing. For as long as I can remember we won without the nail biting, panic defending last 10 minutes. It was as comfortable as it gets and that was down to the whole team.

And I'm sure of one thing - if Steve could get Greg Leigh signed permanently, he would.
