    Whilst a different genre of film (more akin to Deliverance tbf) Southern Comfort is a peerless film. Anything with Powers Boothe in it has to be good.

    Spot on Pents, Possibly 2 of my all time favs mentioned there. Deliverance in my opinion is Riveting, fantastic.

    Southern Comfort as I said before edge of the seat stuff with a splendid Ry Cooder Sound Track

    One of the best true war films (and books)

    surrounded by a 5 to 1 Opposing force, they fought hard and long. The wounded refusing to be avacuated out. With many wounded they fought and won. The book written by Hal explains it all. I am reliably informed that the film was very (very) realistic to what happened over those few days.
