Yet again I must stress that this is not saying that GB is useless, far from it. For me it's a case of indecisiveness more than anything brought about by him still IMO too far down the learning curve.

Correct Despair ..but the trouble is once hes found a winning hand he bloody shuffles um again for the next game. If its not broken ..dont fix it ..sometimes better doing nowt than tinkering for tinkering sake.

[quote="Howie5o"]My take on it, having had a rare day off and was able to attend.

I don't rate Spearing. I never have. I don't think he adds anything of note. That was my first chance to see him live, having seen the odd game on TV. My opinion hasn't changed. He is not the answer. I don't like how we keep dealing with Bolton, who have royally messed us about with Baptiste. Or Spearing, who already turned us down. If he's not good enough for them, he isn't for us.

I think Gestede is sulking. He clearly wanted to go to Palace, and I'd drop him. I thought his whole demeanour yesterday was poor from minute one. I've never been convinced of him & Rhodes together. Our manager still hasn't figured out the best way of using Rhodes. Supplying him. So that partnership has never flourished. Yesterday proved that even more. I'd get shut of Gestdede in the summer.
King ...last week was just a one off, where everything we

    Despair ...
Dunny of NOW would have the required. The fact he has been under used is criminal. I still maintain he is one of the best players in this league. Even though he is at the end of his career, and injury prone. ...and a tad over weight. I'd have a 40 year old Dunn over Spearing, I know that.

Bowyer isn't the man for the job. Experience manager who knows what he is doing would benefit the club. Blame Venkys for this and Gary Bowyer was found out this season he not right for the job.

    Hi champs
I can't argue too much with what you said however I feel when you get a bee in your bonnet with a player no matter what they do you dislike them
Rudy gestede yesterday was no world beater however he put in a ok performance and recently has done pretty well
Back to January you wanted him sold and claimed he would not amount to much in the premiership I disagree I feel he could be a very good player
Yet you laud Rhodes who missed countless chances and has done over the course of the season
Jay spearing a player you wanted nowhere near the club before he has even kicked a ball the games he has played this season he has made a difference yet you continue to pan him
This is not an assassination of your character just an observation that's all
It could be I am a **** judge of player who knows.

Loads of great opinion there lads. One vain running true though again. Consistency. We have none. Various factors for this, Bowyer's tinkering being one of them. Tuesday will be interesting as Norwich have come up on the rails recently and look in good form. We are all talking of changes, well changes need to be made on Tues or I fear we might get spanked.

The 'all talking of changes' is not quite correct, as quite a few are decrying the plethora of what are viewed as seemingly unnecessary changes ie what you refer to as 'tinkering' (too much of?).

As for Tues, well who can say, with any sort of surety ? Going off last game you would predict nil points. But equally given our erratic form you could envisage a turn around.
I am going to back the lads finding some semblance of personal pride and getting a point:
    2-2

    re: my take on yesterday

A lot of posters I respect have consistently described disappointing performances, in terms of the quality of our football. This has been compounded by our managing to lose or draw a number of games from winning positions.
All the same, the generalisations about GB's perceived failings surely cannot be applied to a game like Saturday's. Of course, I have only watched highlights, which give me no idea of the overall pattern of the match, but the simple fact is - however badly we played - we created a huge number of clear-cut chances, and the players contrived to miss them all except one. At least four of the opportunities were ones you would have expected players from Division 27 to take!
I see that the LET site is again full of foaming-at-the-mouth "Bowyer out" zombies. Do they actually believe that our failure to beat Blackpool was down to the manager? How could he possibly be blamed for such poor finishing? (I accept that our set-ball deficiencies in defence are a different issue, by

Aucks like I said quite some time back the LT in regards its comments is a worthless rag. It borders on the insane, more so due to the manic ramblings and bickering from our neighbours.
I would not pay too much heed in what is put up there.
