I notice that Uche was played upfront. I reiterate my point from another post and suggest that Uche should lie deeper. He is the only person who can hold on to the ball and one of the few that can carry it forward. We need this deeper in the formation in order to keep some pressure off the defence. I would still play Haber and Nicky in front. Away from home Ness seems to be a luxury as he is apparently so ineffective.So...I'd play a flat back four with Grant and Tate just in front Jones ain front of them then Uche + the front two. Clearly grant would have a bit more mobility in his role and could push forward when he can. At home I'd have to think again as Ness is an asset then.

I think a stable formation home and away would work best.
