What`s the word I`m looking for,I think you all know what it is I`m thinking.
4 shot`s on goal,no corner`s,under the cosh for 90 min`s.
SD say`s goal difference dos`nt matter, but goals count. Not much chance of that tonight.
2 points off safety now.![]()

Vile let us down, one of the few times your pulling for a win they go and do that (led twice too).. Still, on the bright side when we beat Oldham on Sat and Orient tie at Creepy things won't look so bad.
:
He set us up to lose, to be beaten away. We set up to defend and we were rubbish at it. They got into us on our left and Guthrie was weak.Originally Posted by NEVTHEDEV
3rd away game where strategy has cost us. I hope we do win on Saturday or we'll be in deep.
Starting to doubt the manager and the mind-set. Worst defense in footy and can't cope away![]()

Gave them too much respect.
We'd lost the match before we'd even set foot on the pitch.
All this talk of bonus games - we supporters can talk like that but not players and officials.
In their eyes, the only bonus game should be if we were granted a 47th!!
Not panicking yet though.
However if they start referring to Oldham at home as a bonus, (ok, I know they won't), then you know we're in trouble!
While we've lost 5 from 7, they've just lost 6 from 7!!
With the correct approach, they are there for the taking.
They're still reeling from Johnson jumping ship!
Disappointing scoreline but hardly a great surprise, given how much better Bristol have been than any other side in League 1 this season, and with PNE on a very good run of form too anything other than a defeat would have been a surprise there - rather unfortunate that those two matches followed each other, but let's not forget we took 4 points from them over the festive season, which made for a Happy Christmas, at least!
What's important for us now is to avoid doing what we seem very good at - playing to the standard of the opposition (as we did in the first half against S****horpe). If we play anything like as well as we can then Oldham should be easy meat on Saturday so let's leave any doom and gloom until after that match.
I'm not saying all is well with the balance of the side, but it's in better shape than it was in October and good enough to avoid the drop.
As a regular poster on here often says - onwards and upwards!!
I notice that Uche was played upfront. I reiterate my point from another post and suggest that Uche should lie deeper. He is the only person who can hold on to the ball and one of the few that can carry it forward. We need this deeper in the formation in order to keep some pressure off the defence. I would still play Haber and Nicky in front. Away from home Ness seems to be a luxury as he is apparently so ineffective.So...I'd play a flat back four with Grant and Tate just in front Jones ain front of them then Uche + the front two. Clearly grant would have a bit more mobility in his role and could push forward when he can. At home I'd have to think again as Ness is an asset then.
Anyone who witnessed last night will find it difficult to believe that anyone will be "easy meat" for the rest of the season. Whilst the result was possibly expected the manner was not. The nicest thing that was said on the Radio Bristol phone-in after the game was that Crewe were "awful".
Of the front two Haber at least won a few headers but Uche made rather a fool of himself with a petulant reaction to being (correctly) penalised. Other than that his lack of pace was sorely highlighted. I'm at a loss to know what happened to the midfield. They looked slow and ponderous, Granty was in no way himself and the quality of Ness's passing was unacceptable. Perhaps it is the decent surfaces we have away from home but the team seems to prefer our mud heap to perform on!
The back line struggled manfully but Oliver Turton was regularly exposed, Ray and Davis both contrived to look naive on occasions, Guthrie looked like a rabbit in the headlights and Jones battled hard and skilfully but was ov
