[quote="Bstand" and yet when personal ambition or money come into the equation we find out that they in fact, were not a Ram.
It would seem to me that love him or hate him the only manager that we have had in the last 15 years who in fact was a Ram was Nigel Clough.
In terms of ownership apart from a very short tenure by the LOG the only owner we have had in the last 25 years who was a Ram was Lionel Pickering who truly was a Ram, and yet was vilified by a large minority of the supporters.
To my my mind Loyalty to the club counts for everything and for that reason i truly hope Mel Morris can assume total control, we know he is a Ram and is probably alone in this amongst the current senior team at Derby County.[/quote]

speaking about loyalty bstand, we should recognise your undivided loyalty to nigel clough. every post is still lavishing praise on the bloke despite him moving on almost 2 years ago.

A muddled post I think since the concept of 'being a Ram' has to have a variety of meanings. For Rams fans, being 'a Ram for life' is a reasonable expectation but for players and managers we can

When you know what has actually happened in the last few months and you certainly don't know at the moment perhaps you could make a judgement. As it stands this is just your normal prejudiced bile.

There is no loyalty in football..
Whilst I understand the emotion in your comments above, SM still gave us 18 well 15 months of excitement, so I wont bad mouth him now.. Win, lose or draw I enjoyed my football again!
If he thinks he is bigger than us then off he goes.. No problem by me.. If he fails at Newcastle, West Ham or wherever, there will be a little smile on my face.

    Toodle off now

    re: Loyalty

On the other side of the coin, loyalty means nothing if the club wants to sack the manager or release a player.
To players and management its just a job, loyalty in football only exists between fans and their chosen club therefore I never demand loyalty from players or management just 100% effort whilst their with us.
