He'll be expected to win Atimiknow. I'm sure he knows that.

Of course he'll be expected to win. Especially with King's hype about buying players that will not alone win the championship but will be able to compete in the top flight.

What I think he shouldn't indulge in is the BillyBritain nonsense that so many of his predecessors did.

If he sticks with the football I think he'll do well - if he gets sidetracked into the "party song" kind of BS I think it could take his eye off the ball so to speak.

As I say, from this remove he seems a decent sort - hopefully he won't allow himself to be corrupted.

He managed Brentford FFS. Brentford.

And for less than two years.

Not exactly a hugely convincing track record.

But as I said, we'll see.

What I find hilarious is the blind faith Rangers fans place in people that come into their club despite pretty shaky evidence to support that faith.

A list of some big managers at Aberdeen …….

Juggernaut Deek
He managed Bristol City FFS, Bristol City.
Before he was chased up the M6 by a pitchfork wielding mob and told never to cross the border again.

Craig Brown
He managed Preston FFS, Preston
And he was given a Virgin Trains Super Saver Single from Preston to Motherwell and told in no uncertain terms he was not allowed a return

Jimmy Calderwood,
He managed Dunfermline FFS, Dunfermline
Oh wait a minute, they were much better than Aberdeen at the time, so they were on to a good thing with

You don't need to google it - it's from Veryfrail Street
Is this what walter calls ammo. Maybe we should start post threads from bunmdia and follow follow. This would provide an endless stream of comedy.

For the record as I said on another thread I think this could be a good appointment. He may be exactly what they need. No doubt though if it had been walters rivals he would have been the first to post a thread mocking them appointing a manager who was rejected by a championship club.
Yahoo and diddie Quoting posts from FF,Rangers media etc seems to go down a treat on here
But I'll turn a blind eye to my pal Beachy quoting from Veryfrail Street.

They're all missing the point - it's not Rangers fans that say he is a big. It's the yahoos on their websites.
