"No way will Warburton ever go there, he's too big a and on top of that, with his background in finance he will know himself what a mess they are in and he'll have no money to spend. He won't touch it."
You don't need to google it - it's from Veryfrail Street![]()

Is this what walter calls ammo. Maybe we should start post threads from bunmdia and follow follow. This would provide an endless stream of comedy.
For the record as I said on another thread I think this could be a good appointment. He may be exactly what they need. No doubt though if it had been walters rivals he would have been the first to post a thread mocking them appointing a manager who was rejected by a championship club.
I concur and like you I've said so on other threads - Warburton has the potential imho to be exactly what The Rangers require at this moment of their development from Championship failures into becoming a decent top flight team.
Wonder if the Scottish MSM will paint it as a job that's too big for Warburton or will they treat him with kid gloves.
Saw the whole hand-shake thing between him and Davie Weir focused in on by Sky TV last night. About as subtle as a chain-saw
I'm all for giving guys a chance, but nobody upon nobody can tell me this guy is a 'big'.
He managed Brentford FFS. Brentford.
And for less than two years.
Not exactly a hugely convincing track record.
But as I said, we'll see.
What I find hilarious is the blind faith Rangers fans place in people that come into their club despite pretty shaky evidence to support that faith.
None of them had heard of Brentford or Warbuton before last week, now he's going to take them up first time of asking. Is Ian Black still there![]()

Would hardly say he's a big, Most folk up here had never heard of the guy, Suspect most Bears as well, But good luck to the guy and welcome to Scotland,
Seemed a decent sort in as much as you can judge from a couple of interviews. He's level headed. Hopefully he doesn't have his head turned by the Weeurrapeepil mob that infest ibrox
He's not a big. He's got a lot of work to do and he won't have a lot of time to get it right.
