I don't think this is about this season (as a business plan) prices were always going to rise if we edge closer to the Premiership, Mr Chansiri stated 2017 was the target, I'd expect him to announce a freeze on ticket prices next season after hopefully a decent 2015/16 campaign then shift a few more earlybirds out.

No doubt this season is going to hurt a lot of fans but there is plenty of room to move with the high number of 'cat' games, those that pick and choose can get a 5 quid reduction on all tickets by becoming members, away fans are going to feel the pain too i think we will take a big hit their with boycotts like the one we have seen from our fans at leeds the last two seasons.

At the end of the day Chansiri is putting his money where his mouth is into our c

Hope all is well with you braggy me old pal

Have to say tho mate..bit of a bombshell these new ticket prices your new owner has come up with..if he had spent millions on players then you could understand it I suppose but kin-ell he's really testing your supporters with this one..especially if you get off to a poor start.

Sad to say but football is no longer a working class mans game is it

The walk up price for the Bristol game is steep no question but while not thinking it's the best way to go for an opening game I''m not quite ready to slag off the club just yet.

The only way to really tell what is going on is to wait till season's end...only then will we be able to see the average price for walking up to a game, there are eight categories, I assume all eight or at least seven will be used at some stage, no point in issuing redundant categories, when we can see the average then maybe we'll see what's going on.

This could be a smart move by the club, they've left themselves a lot of wriggle room if the feedback from the Bristol game is too negative, they can claw back 'confidence' in prices through the season if they're smart enough without looking like they've back flipped...to me the opening game looks like a sounding board, hopefully they'll respond accordingly.

I can't see Cat. A* being used much if at all unless it's a mega game, such as a last game decider to b

Hey up Rev...Not bad mate, hope all's well with you anall.

I know mate it's scandalous int it.

I renewed mine and my lads tickets in March(first early bird and all that) but never expected a rise like this a few months down the line..Surely our Chairman, and his advisors, (if you can call them that) must realise that we weren't gonna be happy with this..A couple of quid on the day yes but fck me the price has more or less doubled...Unreal.

Looks like our average attendance this season Rev is gonna be about 16,000 ish..

    What really p

You're either on the wind up or suffering from insomnia. Not that long ago you were praising the high prices as a bold and brave strategy that would fast track success. You also short-sightedly minimised the financial damage by claiming that regular ST holders would be hardly affected ... you displayed an 'I'm alright Jack' mentality.

Now you're criticising Chancer and rubbing it in your fellow Pig's faces that you won a couple of tickets.

    Tut, tut, tut.
Come on GHO...I mean Katch...is it necessary to do an in depth analysis of all my posts looking to point score - could you not try and discuss the subject and overcome your obsession with try

Where did that come from? Very paranoid rov, have a sit down and compose yourself.

I flagged your comments as you've previously defended the price hikes and now you've switched sides with the group think.

Aussie is sticking to his guns, but post 13 is a bit off. Aussie sounding very much like an out of touch club shill.

Yep, looking back shill was out of order. I'll retract it and downgrade to 'stooge'. I really don't see how you can defend the ticket pricing aussie.

I've just read Chancer's long statement (his English is coming along isn't it), it's just a very prettily worded way of saying 'I call the shots, I set the prices, I want success and you have to pay for it ... I'll give you a couple of cheap games a season to make up for it'.

'I can only emphasise that the very last intention is to price anyone out of Hillsborough.' Does he not realise that's exactly what he is doing?

Stooge isn't quite right either, I'm assuming you don't mean some sort of comedian's straight man(then again maybe you do..), that being the case neither am I an aider or abettor to Chansiri's business model, I'm just giving my opinion on how it looks from the outside.

Yes I think he does call the shots, sets prices & wants for success while also needing the fans do their bit, he's already spent millions of his own money...I don't know how far enough fans can keep doing their bit, each jump in prices above inflation, does like you say, price more people out of going as much as they'd like, some all together no doubt...is that really his intention though?, or just collateral in the crazy world football has become.

It would be great wouldn't it, if we could go back to the days where it was truly a working man's game, affordable to the masses like it was when 60,000 gates were fairly common...maybe it is possible I don't know but somehow I doubt it, if Wednesday want to live in the pr

Braggy... Now the ticket prices have gone up, do you still want me to look into getting you a season ticket for the West stand at NYS?
