Ok maybe I let the occasion get the better of me but Keogh was one of our better players today in what was a very poor performance.
Maybe he's playing better without the captains armband.
Don't know who should have it though coz I don't think it's Baird.

maybe not a holding mid but he'd do a job where as Baird ain't never gonna be a midfielder.
Like others have said, maybe if GT ain't fit another system should be played.
Hanson would've done a better job today or B Johnson.
PC needs to reconsider captain in my opinion.
The way Keogh came over to away fans after the game today chest thumping really made me think maybe he should've kept the armband. Another great performance from him today.
No, no, no, no yamyam. Angry is so right. That's the whole point. Keogh has been our best player this season because he's been relieved of the captaincy. Some relish it - Stimac, Wright and Van der Laan for example - and some suffer because of it. That's just how it is, so please don't give it back to Keogh, he's fine as he is.

Hendrick in for Butterfield and Thorne in for Baird would be my choice. Martin Captain, Johnson Vice Captain.

Baird is a useful squad player, covering midfield and right back... but no way a 1st 11 starter. Definitely not captain material.

I keep reading about Baird and the Derby fans for the Leeds game, what did he actually do?

Really can't agree about Martin as captain, Adi. Not many captain from his position and I don't think he's suited to the role temperamentally. Not knocking him, on his day he's one of our most important players and he's certainly bright enough to do the press bits of the job, but you can't have a sulky captain and when things aren't going right his attitude just goes from bad to worse.

Want is wrong with shackel as captain..?
He appears well down the pecking order when the armband is given out...Baird first then Martin ..then keogh..

After Baird had played about the 20th negative ball, the fans gave him a few boos - encouragement to take at least look to play a positive / forward pass.
In return, Baird gestured towards the East Stand fans an obvious "********* you". He was then properly boo'ed for the rest of his participation in the match.
It didn't look at all good on Baird's part, especially not a captains example.
