14m bid and Rhodes MUST go. We need a better footballer up there. In fact we need 2.

Can anyone put hand on heart and honestly say that we have actually played better under the new manager?
Aucks, this football is a world away from we started playing under Bowyer this season. The football was exciting and attacking until Bowyer was sacked. Tonight was pretty bland, but much more professional. It was disciplined. Rotherham defended well, and that was what they turned up to do. After the OG, that's what Rovers let them do. No silly adventures, just protect the 3 points and take them. In terms of getting the results required to climbing the table, the football under Lambert, hand on heart, is better. Tonight was the first time I've seen Rovers grind out a result like that since BFS. It's improved very

Play like that again Mon and we'd better pray Lady Luck is still smiling as unless she is we will lose.
Let's just hope this was just one of those nights/games.
Not victimising, but my views on JR have not altered in the slightest.
Aucks, can't disagree that this was pretty much a GB performance but with added benefit of luck.

At least three additions needed in Jan.
Thanks, Despair. It's odd that so many supporters are in denial, when it is obvious that little has changed yet except the rub of the green.
This is STILL not a criticism of Lambert. I think we were very lucky to get a man of his calibre. All I'm doing is saying that many supporters ar

I'm happier with Lambert in charge and have the belief that we'll continue to aquire more points under his management than we did under GB. I don't care what methods he uses to succeed in this. Don't forget I never wanted big Sam out.

For the record I don't really think we've seen much that has been influenced by Lambert thus far apart from maybe a certain approach to games. We probably will only see the fruits of Lambert's endeavours a good few games after he's brought in some of his own players in January.

In the matches under Lambert, if anything, the tactics have been for a tighter game-plan. I'm not complaining about that, but that was certainly NOT what the critics were calling for under GB!
And surely no-one can deny that the "luck" factor has turned in our favour over the last four games. Look at this latest match: a poor performance (by even the manager's account) and an own goal!
I see that Lambert is saying performances don't matter as long as we win. Is that really ALL we watch football for?
C’mon Aucks, I certainly have discussed woeful refereeing, handballs, woeful finishing and bad luck. The football this season unde

You're arguing the results say a lot. I'm more than happy with results. My argument is that I simply can't see a big change. Same team; much the same tactics; same sort of post-match comments from the manager. I'd say the single biggest difference IS a change of luck! Penalties in our favour; deflected goals; red cards for our opponents; opposition penalty-appeals turned down; own goals. It seems pretty obvious to me that, purely in the footballing sense, there has been no major shift.
And this game? Three points never in doubt? Even in that first 20 minutes? We seemed to be all over the place in that period, according to commentary and reports.

Ok my view on last night
it was a pretty poor game and Rotherham were nothing more than a bunch of cloggers
how many times did they try to bust Lawrence in half
the lad kept getting back up and proved to be a handful for them
defensively we were not great but as strange as this sounds I didn't feel like they were going to score
our back 4 and keeper shouldn't change
Going forward we had moments and did look dangerous but I echo the thoughts on Rhodes he must of been very bored and I feel when he isn't among the action it definitely feels like we have a player less on the field
My real worry is not how average we looked in this match but the lack of a spark we had on the bench
had this game been draw or we were losing who could we have brought on to change things
so to sum things up poor match decent result a improvement needed for Monday as forest pose alot larger threat than Rotherham.

Don't agree with Lambert preferring brown to koita. There I said it..

In a funny sort of way the players may prefer playing against a forest side that'll play more of a footballing game than a team of battlers like Rotherham.

I don't have anything against Brown as when he comes on he holds up play well and is sort of a battering ram type
it was the fact we had both Guthrie and Williamson on the bench perhaps koite or even delfounso should of been on there instead of Williamson.
You need players for all eventualities and if it wasn't going well we simply didn't have the players on the bench to change things.
