I take it a lot of people will still be telling me it's nothing to do with luck.
The same performance and result under GB would have been greeted with cries of "Bowyer out!'
Can anyone put hand on heart and honestly say that we have actually played better under the new manager?

I wouldn't say we played badly. We were well organised and reasonably disiplined. I expect more of the same, results improving, performances; (in the eyes of folk like me), going down. It was dull as hell and Rhodes must have been bored sh1tless. But nights like this will define the season. Up and at 'em. Bring on the Florists.

Aucks, this football is a world away from we started playing under Bowyer this season. The football was exciting and attacking until Bowyer was sacked. Tonight was pretty bland, but much more professional. It was disciplined. Rotherham defended well, and that was what they turned up to do. After the OG, that's what Rovers let them do. No silly adventures, just protect the 3 points and take them. In terms of getting the results required to climbing the table, the football under Lambert, hand on heart, is better. Tonight was the first time I've seen Rovers grind out a result like that since BFS. It's improved very quickly to do the job. There will be man

If I was manager I would have gone off my head at Duffy and Hanley , trying to play it out from the back and they are obviously not good enough to do it .

There was that. But thankfully the midfield covered their arses on those occassions.

It was a poor display, with too many 'not at the races' yes Roth really made it difficult for us, but then again we constantly put ourselves in difficult situations sometimes not really forced.
Too many balls pumped upfield into space, where opposition took gleeful re-possession.
Play like that again Mon and we'd better pray Lady Luck is still smiling as unless she is we will lose.
Let's just hope this was just one of those nights/games.
Not victimising, but my views on JR have not altered in the slightest.
Aucks, can't disagree that this was pretty much a GB performance but with added benefit of luck.

At least three additions needed in Jan.
