Yes but it comes down to belief or.
do you think r edfearn has the ability to keep us up or we can sign the players to do it.

Under Evans I always had belief we would stay up

I always thought Fatman would keep us up, I never thought he'd do anything other than that though, no matter how long he was here for. He's management style is quite short term. His scatter gun approach to buying players means he has no long-term plan. It worked in League two and one when we were a big fish, it worked last season to keep us up and it'd probably have worked to keep us up this year. It'd be interesting to see what he'd be like in the Championship with a club with a big budget and a decent chairman, he'd probably do alright.

I see Redfearn as a more longer term strategist. I appreciate he's signed a lot of players and got some loan players since coming... But he took over when the season had already started and we were struggling, he's trying to stop a leak (albeit he's making it worse at the moment). I'm not saying he'll work out, or won't work out, that remains to be seen. But if he's here long enough, I could see him building a structure where we don't sign 30 playe

TS needs some investment from other people. He obviously can't provide the funds to enable us to have a squad to compete with anyone barring a couple of teams at this level.

When you think less than 2 years on from paying a decent chunk of change for Jordan Bowery and paying him 8 grand a week, just to now see he can leave for nowt, basically because he's *bleep*e. There's no wonder he's not throwing anymore money around.

I was saying months ago we may just have to face the fact we will never be able to compete at this level. accept leagues 1 + 2 as our level and enjoy what we have.

I think it would be unfair and extremely harsh to direct too much criticism at Tony Stewart, he given it the best he can give but unfortunately it's just not enough at this level.

I'm already thinking about the Yorkshire mini league in L1 next season and have been for some time.

I do fully agree with the OP that getting rid of Steve Evans was a mistake, I aired my views on here passionately a

Until he gets some promotions on his CV he will always be inferior won't he?

Have performances improved/stayed the same or got worse while NR has been here. For me they're worse. We are making more basic mistakes and look easier to beat i.m.o.

It isn't really fair to compare the 2 being honest as SE has been at it much longer but has had success everywhere he's been and has turned Leeds fortunes around, unbeaten in about 7-8 games I think.

I 100% wish SE was still our manager but that's my opinion and I do understand why others think differently.

On NR keeping us up. Not a chance on what I've seen so far and will finish 8-10 points from safety. Again only my opinion and will gladly hold my hands up if he pulls it off and will be over the moon to do so.

We have a chance of staying up - we are currently out of the bottom 3 but we need to be much harder to beat and be able to grind draws out of tough games to do so. So far this season we've won back to back 3 times with lots of defeats inbetween. We lose far too many and concede far too many. If that continues we go down. If we replicate the points total from the first half of the season we'll get 44 points, I can't see that being enough

Riley you make some good points I'm not sure if NR is up to it but some on here IMO have been at him from day one.

Your right about comparing the 2 managers its unfai
