Bowyer had the team playing better , more attractive football with just as good a results ratio (almost) , which would have got better as the season progressed . We would not have gone up , but also would not have gone down . Right now Lambert has to improve us or we just could be relegated .

Needle dont start getting all misty eyed over Bowyer and forgetting the facts.Good football? Better results ? and progressing ?? really ..he d three seasons to progress and started this season with 3 wins in 17 ??

A change was needed and a change we ve got. Lets wait til PL finally has his say over this team.We ve still got a squad with Bowyers thinking ..which as you said yourself in the past was bloody awful. We wont be relegated but next season like everyone else i ll be expecting a lot more from PL if he s allowed to spend in the summer.

I think the display against Brentford(bowyer's last) was possibly the beginning of a performance decline anyway(awful display). Its total guesswork to suggest we were going to gain improved results as the season progressed under GB.

Howie,you are totally misquoting me . I said better more attractive football , with just as good a results ratio (almost) which in my opion (Mary) would have got better as this season progressed .
I agree Howie we have not pregressed over the last 2 seasons,but were we ever going to with the mess Bowyer inherited . In a freults/League position sense,no progress , as a football club we have progressed in leaps and bounds . I`ll give Lambert his chance , but I don`t like what I`m seeing and the fact is we now have to improve on the last 6 results or we go down .
