    Sorry to see him go and wish him all the best

    The shame was we lacked the creativity to make chances for him this season.

    Not sure how he will cope with the world of one up front which is in vogue these days.

    Time for us to move on. It has happened before with Field, Crawford, Shearer, Bellamy, Santa Cruz.

    Lets hope PL hose the nous to unravel another talent or 6 as that is what we need right now.

    You should, if you have not, have listened to PL's post match comments, in reflection.
    He was not crowing in any way (as he maybe could have) he was very guarded in saying the same thing we all have - no team is one man. There's a huge job to put together a team that can challenge, the real work starts towards the end of this season. JR was a very good servant for us and it would have been nice for him to have stayed, but even with him here we still couldn't manage it.
