First game of the season, playing a different formation and having a good look at how it was panning out. When he changed it to a diamond he sent Hughes on, which shows Pearson wants to play players where he thinks they will do a job.

Right one match in and I'm in full angry mode.. Pearson FFS, what was that starting 11? You pissing on your turf to show them who is boss. What spanner thought that Baird and Johnson was a good mix?
Johnson... WTF has he done in preseason to impress Pearson so much? Same old Johnson of last year.. Get rid asap.
Thought Blackman was half decent at the start tbf.. His team selection took any optimism of a new season out of the day.. You could feel it drain from the crowd as soon as the team was released. South Stand? Might as well have been in Costco, more noise in there.

I am all for him mixing things up but let's get one thing right Mr Pearson.. You pick Will first and then the rest.. Capiche.

Agree with a lot of that mista, but as regards Carson...his handling was good and he made one very good save, but I thought his distribution was woeful today.

ramAnag Yes is distribution was poor but his option's were always very limited They were making sure we could not play out from the back and noi point lumping it to Bent because Dunk had him in his pocket
