Stupid money, nowadays a decent lge 1 player can be around 1million.
We cannot compete with those prices, the more it goes on, the less we can compete financially.
Massive financial investment is what all clubs need to progress, where do we find a billionaire to invest in us?.
I'm not saying we compete in that market.

Could we have pushed the boat out for Bradshaw or Gregory?

If we believe the press coming out of the club Tony Stewart was prepared to but was stopped by Alan Stubbs he said they were over priced at what was being asked for by their clubs.

Unfortunately in any market you have to pay the going rate or you end up with nothing.

We should have pushed the boat out financially for Gregory, I'm hoping we
do just that today, speculate to accumulate!.
If we have to pay £2million for him, go get him.
Would we recoup the outlay if he keeps us in the Championship, I reckon so.

Perhaps Gregory and Le Fondre would be a good combo.

You waint gerrowt on that till everything is signed and sealed mikemiller. Best bet, at least for speculation-some bollax, some ok, is on #rufc twitter. Deanos twitter is a good bet for decent info. Other people who often seem to know summat because of their track record are millertop and kcm northstand. Keep away from the likes of Hensons PR man. You could also look at the twitter account of the dee dars rob staton
