Depends who they put forward but I'm sure the trust must have ideas to enhance the club otherwise why bother.

No expert but the profit figure is inflated by write off of various loans (which is great as they are removed from the balance sheet and we don't need to repay) but did we not make a big loss?

150 grand down the swannee river is the figure I have been given today that Queens have missed out on by losing to Albion Rovers. A figure that would have set us up for next season and still haunts those at the top.

Sorry Joe , you are a great lad and hope you understand my view as I am 100% behind Admin's comments regarding a fan on the Board. Hewittson is not everyone's cup of tea and a hard nosed businessman. If he wasn't though he wouldn't be a successful as he has been in the business world. He, Blount and Patterson need to be left to run Queens without distraction . Popular doesn't necessarily mean good for the club. Hewittson, popular or unpopular, gets things done and is good for Queen of the South.

You will note that a resolution has been placed before members by the Queens Trust requesting the election of a Trust representative to the Board of Directors. As a Board of Directors, we do not believe this will be beneficial to the company. We are happy to engage with supporters, both individually and as groups, through direct contact and also via the two new officers named above. However, we believe that the addition of an uninvited director to the Board will complicate matters and make the actual running of the company more difficult. The Board has operated smoothly in a streamlined manner since it was reduced to three directors in 2012 and we would prefer that this situation continue for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the Board of Directors does NOT support this resolution.

Please note in relation to Item 4:
This item is placed on the Agenda at the request of the Queen of the South Supporter's Society Limited, supported by Dumfries Common Good Committee, who between them own over 5% of the issued share capital. It is not supported by the Board of Directors and your directors will be voting against this resolution.
We also draw to your attention that if item 4 is passed by the members, the requirement of Article 11 of the company Articles of Association for any director to own at least 250 shares in their own right still stands. It is presently still possible for the Queen of the South Supporters Society Limited itself to be nominated as a Corporate Director as it owns more than 250 shares, though the UK Government is seeking to legally bar such corporate appointments. A ban on corporate directors had been due to come into force in October 2016 but has presently been deferred for an unknown period of time.

Sorry folks , but it's just not going to happen . You have to feel for JTulip etc for all their hard work they've done over the years but it's quite clear their final aim is going to fail

Why can Trust members' shares not be added to the Trust's amount of shares to support this?

So they lost 150k, lost money with the concert fiasco, appointed rookie managers twice from within and some still think they're doing a good job.

I hope they don't run their other "going concerns" like this.
Then you think back to the Harkness Era.
