    Annual general meeting

will take place on Monday 20th February at Nith Hotel. On reading the season review sent this morning to shareholders it is interesting to read that '' Queens do not think a fan on the board would be beneficial to the club '' The accounts also reveal that the club made a profit.

Great to see another profit for the club . Can't see the directors getting a tough time if Naysmith continues to turn things round on the pitch . If you are a shareholder and you've got something to say then I'd urge you to attend and get your point across

What reasons do they give for not having a fan on the board? I thought they were fans.

One look at the fixture list tomorrow tells you how much healthier the balance sheet would have been next year. Yes, I am talking Albion Rovers v Celtic. We would have made a relative fortune for a club of our size.

We at Queens Mad also concur that a fan on board would not be beneficial to the club.

Would a fans representative on the board not just prevent any decisions from being made at the meeting? Surely he would have to consult with the Trust before agreeing or otherwise any resolutions the board were deciding upon. Unfortunately this arrangement simply cannot work especially at the executive level.
