    I'd imagine Jim Patterson or Bobby Black would come before Derek Lyle if the club ever decided to name a stand or terrace after a Queens player

    Lyle's End is a belter ALBERTZ . I worry about you

    You are probably correct on that. I worry about myself sometimes. LOL.

    On the subject of Black and Patterson, along with McGill, Rothera and Oakes. I reckon the Famous Five of Queens could rival the Hibs Famous Five of the same era.

    Sorry Albertz but take a minute or two and look up the Hibees famous five's achievements - despite being Queens best - ever (allegedly) forward line there is no way big Jim. Bobby Black etc could compare to the Edinburgh teams forward line of those days.

    I realise you are correct on the Hibees Famous Fives' achievements. I think I relate the Queens forward line of the same era so closely is due to the fact that the Leith's 5 first played together at Palmerston.
