They are therefore touting the middle class way of living as being good. So the Socialists claim that there is a bias here "people are judged to be good because they are middle-class"

Completely made-up rubbish, as usual... please tell us which "Socialist" has ever said the above - Karl Marx said the opposite, for example.
You'd be better sticking to commenting on "Songs of Praise"

By the way, if you are basing you misconceptions on Tony Blair, as far as I know, he has never claimed to be a Socialist

Mind you, it can get quite cold at night and I often get moved on by the local sheriff.

How did I know you of all people would pounce on this 😄😄😄

I realised when scum started with a capital letter that it would relate to Andy. I couldn't be bothered to change it and there you were 😄😄

Living in Harrogate I have no knowledge of 'lower orders'. Does the term have religious connotations?

Leave the cosy enclave around Betty's and have a walk up to the Victoria Shopping Centre. All will become clear. There are folk around there carrying their own bags.

Mike you seem a decent sort. Believe it or not when I was younger I had left wing sympathies and wanted a fairer world but when I reached my 18th birthday I realised that this wasn't how the world worked. The world isn't fair and it was time to make the most of it with the cards I had been dealt. Now there is every chance that when you reach the age of eigh**** you might have a similar awakening to me but just in case you don't here are some handy hints for a better life, which I suggest you follow.

1.Don't go to McDonalds nor eat their products. If you can, avoid any low-rent fast food places.

2.Give up brown ale; also strong lager and the cider that comes in blue plastic bottles. Have a good quality glass of wine every now and then but don't drink it with the friends you normally associate with.

    3. Try to exercise or get a hobby which doesn't artificially alter the consciousness.

    4. Avoid anybody that encourages you to go contrary to my advice.

5.Try and avoid bellyaching and whinging. Instead be grateful for what you have and try to be positive.

    6. Buy some fruit and vegetables. If you want to know where they are they are in the aisle of the supermarket that you usually avoid. I would ask you to buy a vegetable steamer but that might be a strain on your budget. However if you give up the scratch cards for a month or so you will be able to purchase one.

    7. Try to eat asparagus, broccoli and salmon fillets.

Now don't expect miracles, you must say goodbye to your working class penchant for instant gratification. You might feel uncomfortable for a time but trust me the rewards will come if you are patient and work for them. It won't be long before you are clambering up the social ladder. Who knows we might see you strolling around Fox House in 6 months or so.

Does anyone on this site know anybody who isn't working class !

10 bob millionaires don't count - they are simply individuals who embrace mushroom management - they kiss rrse and take sh!t and thrive on it. Do this for long enough and you'll get promoted - again and again until you take **** for England from a boss that flies in occasionally to have his rrs licked in person to re-affirm what he considers to be his STATUS.

Then that guy goes and reports to his boss....THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER BOSS....

NOW ROYAL FAMILY AND THEIR COURT FOLLOWERS ARE A CLASS ABOVE - but sucking up is an art form rather than a vocation with them.

True working class folk speak their mind and don't sh!t on others....and that's why they stay where they're comfortable....the rest is hypocrisy really.

The "Glass ceiling" does exist !

Middle-class jobs are disappearing, they don't have many children (can't afford to) the future will be between Muslims who have loads of kids and poor whites on benefits who do as well.

One group likes booze, tattoos, pet dogs, *** before marriage and bacon sandwiches, the other side thinks all these things are forbidden by God, what could possibly go wrong?
