The only deal we made good money on was Revell to Cardiff. We've let 3 good strikers go cheap in my opinion- Alf Grabban & Agard. All players that improved whilst they were with us

Each season in championship we were around 1.6 million in profit this was after wages upkeep ect.. times that by 3 that's 4.8 take off the money we spent for players add the money we got for players your looking at 4 million - 3.8. Depending on how much we paid blackstock off.

I will concede this does not include money for training ground upgrade if we used that and not a grant given to us by FA then it will be lower.

Do you really think tony Stewart would offer 2 million for Gregory last year if we didn't have the money waiting. It may or may not have been a real bid but if they had green light it and we didn't have the cash he would have looked like the biggest tit ever.

    no the money is there

Btw you can find all this online

    https://www.insidermedia.com/insider...therham-united

Btw total outgoing for that month was 7- 9 million

Id recheck but I'm too tired

Just out of interest, where do you get your figure of £1.6 million profit per season from?

I think he's got the decimal point in the wrong place. From memory I'm sure it was 160k pre tax profit.

Pre tax profit is only what we pay the government

And mellow there's another site that had total money made after outgoings that tells you but I can't find it again. But if you look on the one I showed you we only pay half the clubs income to staff and players.

I worked in the admin side for the club for a year as a temporary job so I know for a fact we are making money. No I never saw the books but I did ask how much we was making a season. The answer I got was this I'm not sure on the exact sum (name) but while we have been in championship we have been making around 2 million each season give or take a few hundred. I then joked saying that's not much is it what about players wages he told me no (name) that's the profit after everything's been taken out.

But it don't matter what proof I show some people they are convinced that we have less money than a homeless man

I was only asking where you got your profit figures from because the club has never published anything like those numbers in their accounts.

They have done on internet the first year they were in championship every team did due to the new fair play rules that came in.

Incedently the piggys were slightly in the red and Bolton was so far in the red it took a new owner to bail them out

But as I said at least 1.6 million because I don't know what we made last year but with the increased ticket sales I'd guess it was over that.

The only income I know for certain was the first year we was in championship that was leaked online for fair play rules and the second year that I was working for the club. Last year is only guess work.

Also bare in mind what I said did not inclued money for training ground upgrade or money from players sold. But point is the talk of no money is complete *******s. What we are going to do with it I don't know maybe we are building the funds up bit by bit until we have a cheap championship team then spend it on a promotion push to prem. maybe that's tony Stewart's master plan

    What is 'Pretax Profit Margin'
Pretax profit margin is a company's earnings before tax as a percentage of total sales or revenues. The higher the pretax profit margin, the more profitable the company. The trend of the pretax profit margin is as important as the figure itself, since it provides an indication of which way the company's profitability is headed.

I admend my statement I just found out how much we earned last season

    http://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk...loss_21846.htm

If you take that into account I'd guess we only have 2 million which has probably gone on new training complex

More worryingly about the latest figures. Year ending 2014 wage bill was 4.8 million. Last year it was 8.8 million. Where did we spend the extra 4 million...
