Can't see this really unless the FA has a massive shake up -- they want a manipulative puppet to control
And give the public what they believe they want to see .

Our Sean I believe wouldn't get past the interviews, when they asked him if he could live with them influencing the team etc
Also I'm pretty sure half the pre maddonas that play wouldn't know what to make of a manager who is fair and transparent in his views.

Example Southgate - subject Joe Hart

I believe he is the best and number 1 goal keeper for England ----- if he thought that himself were ruined anyway and if they told him to say it --- we're still ruined .
The England job a poison chalice ---/ 6 million quid for a couple of years of being a yes man though ( many would do it)
Just can't see Sean dealing with that.

I'm sure he could, but there are 6 big clubs whose fans and owners are very demanding and wanting instant success, with megastars on mega bucks playing in a totally different way to us. Here he is evolving, there he will need to hit the ground running. Except for Wenger the half life for these clubs managers is 1-2 years as only 1 from 6 can win so five sets of fans and owners can and will grump. There are also European games to add to the pressures.
See how Moyes was destroyed for a not that bad record at Man U and even vilified for buying Fellaini who is a mainstay for Mourinho. Even Ranieri lasted months after winning the title.
So stay with us and have a job for life or chase the money and be out of a job in two years maybe.
Arsenal may be in for a longer haul, but I think Wenger is a one off and when he goes the pressures will be the same.

ian wright is the only one who speaks sense out of this lot and how it is .he said its an art to have good defending as most clubs just want to bomb forward and he so right they are forgetting about defending arsenal build on 1 nil wins and no one ever said anything about them ..keep a clean sheet and you are getting at least a point . simple thing to do is say to sd every season you keep us up we will give you 5 million bonus then i can never be about money .they would be on his case in five mins they way he sets us up we play like this and that .thats why you keep losing .how many times we hear its not the west ham way what the hell is the west ham way they never done anything for years even with there so called best ever players did they ever win much apart from a cup ..Newcastle did it with sam them went straight down the tubes pulis dose it at wba even jose at utd dose it but they wins games .i will gladly settle for mid table for the next 5 years build our club up may be get a good cup run .defending is an art like tackling i love to see a good strong tackle we are always saying get in let him know you are there but in a fair way .just give him a huge bonus every season we stay up its nothing to what we make per year my humble opinion only
