Ian Wright want Dyche for Arsenal Manager

Just seen comments on the Football sports section of the BBC that Ian Wright would like to see our gaffer as the new leader of the Gunners!! I for one hope he stays for a long time, but with success in keeping a small club in the big league I fear it's a matter of time before we have real trouble holding on to our best manager in modern times!

Also seen Everton fans want him, but they are not the decision makers, nor is Wright.
Hope if he ever fancies such a move that Sean takes note of what happens to those players and managers who leave Burnley.
Very few improve, many decline, some disappear.

The "left Burnley curse" is a good one to hold up to the light!

A superstitious Sean might buy that.

    But it is amazingly true.

How many players/managers have, in the past, left Burnley only to go into the wilderness?

There is no doubt that with Burnley's success owners of other teams (and fans) sit up and take note.

Sean is brilliant with what he does and who he does it with but I have previously posted that given a team of low performing, highly paid, megastars who all have contract breaks based on reaching a particular transfer fee or if the team is relegated brings with it problems Sean hasn't faced.

It's one thing to build you team as you see fit, quite another to inherit a super team with fans demanding instant success.

So if you don't want to put your family jewels on the line you need to look to teams that need to rebuild on a relatively smaller budget. And if that is the case--why leave Burnley when you are moving towards your future plans?

Of course I am deliberately leaving out money inducement and status which could be factors.

I read from one sage that Sean would likely be offered the England job. Now that would be interesting.

    .

it's the Twitterers....one twit and others twoo.

seems that way - as looking at the Everton forum and skipping through thirty pages of "Next Everton Manager"......I only saw one mention of Dyche - and that was passed without response - many think Koeman should be given a chance - others want Unsworth brought up....and others dream of Ancelloti.

Sean's challenge is to keep on doing what he is doing and seeing how far he can take us.

It is worth noting that the first team success is permeating top down through all of the youth and development sides.

i said previously that if Dyche leaves Burnley it will be for the England job- i hear that he has specific plans as to where he wants to take us, lets hope they are long term and he stays for the long haul-

Hi oldcolner. No reason to think Sean could not do a good job at either Arsenal or Everton but I am hopeful neither will happen at least not now. Wenger seems to have entrenched himself for another two years and I think Koeman will be given more time to see if he can find a winning formula. Lukaku was a huge loss for them.

Dyche does the simple things really well.
Heaton injured, Pope prepared by Mercer and Robinson and ready to fit straight in when needed.
Keane departs, Tarkowski ready to rock 'n' roll.
    Gray sold, Wood in.
Defour's sulking sorted, he's now a new player alongside Cork.
    Simples!
