Thread: Can we manage without Brady?

  1. #11
Now that Brady has regained his confidence we are miles more potent with Robbie than with Scotty Arfield. I wonder whether SD might be tempted to give the very patient Charlie Taylor a game or two?

Taylor is not a Brady type of player so it wont worlk- Scotty will be beamed up from the bench-

Taylor is strong and quick and his inclusion on the left in front of Wardy might persuade Dyche to revert to a 4-4-2.

I just can't see beyond Scotty as a direct replacement for Brady, and we just carry on as before. It's a bit of a blow, but we certainly weren't/aren't a one man team.

Arfield it is then. Dyche is a lot like you lot, no left field thinking!

Taylor for me in the Watford game especially.

Power and pace - physicality all attributes required for a team like Watford.

Posted many times I like Arfield but he has none of the above , an eye for an odd goal yes and a trick or two but we need pace.

If no left-field thinking gets you to 6th in the PL, while paying bobbins for players, then it's no left-field thinking for me.

    Every time.
