What is the current position with Marney,Walters,Wells & Lowton?

Wells is fit and needs game time, Lowton is fit and despite Bardsley playing well, Matty will be back in on Saturday, Marney I suspect might never play for us again and Walters will probably be on the bench on Saturday.

Brady looks to be long term and I hope we are already framing a replacement because it's taxi time...

    Time to unleash Taylor.

If Robbie is out for the season I would be seriously looking to bring Danny Ings in on loan till the end of the season.

We will certainly need to invest in the transfer window anyway.

I'm not sure about Marney never playing for us again BT.

He may well have an important role to play this season.

I love Dean Marney and constantly batted in his corner yonks ago when loads were questioning his value to the team.

I think our style of play has eclipsed him and he is probably best off in the Championship with a nice pay off from us to smooth his passage.

We could probably devote a full thread to this topic. Anyone?

A fully fit Marney would be a great bonus for us as he is still good enough to help,us out this season.. Good player who knows the ropes..

Quite simply we have to and SD will find a way- we have to do it with what we have at the moment but i dont see any direct replacements so a slight adjustment in style may prove evident. My feeling is that Scotty will fill the void-

I don't have a problem with Scotty either,he's always done well for us in the past..There are a few on here who think he's not good enough and maybe they are right..We will have to see what the new year brings..All I'm bothered about is staying up another season and getting more money and media attention to attract better players next season as we become an established club..Anything more would be a bonus ..

Scott has participated in 77 of our 91 matches in the PL and always puts a shift in and we can't fault him for that. He has become more of a fringe player this season, however, you can be sure that SD will be concentrating on the players available rather than those who are out for whatever reason. I will back whoever replaces Brady to give it 100% --SD expects nothing less.
