I think you should be proud and happy and celebrate. The team have done you proud.

I'm sure there will be some funny memes floating around social media if it happens. However, I wish you all the best in the (hopefully) two remaining games.
Nahhh, England have surpassed expectations so it's all good stuff from now on, regardless.

Calm down.Dont get your knickers in a twist. Was only a question.Believe me,I won't.The lads I know don't say it either. All men in their 40s.The older generation in our club,50s,60s and 70 year olds don't either. Its not something grown up Geordies would say.

It's a term attributed to the so called "prawn sandwich" brigade who although mostly ignorant, like to feel they have jumped up to middle class ot even upper class. Positions they would never be able to aspire to except in their own tiny minds.

On the whole very sad numpties.

Yeah it is. Anyone can say anything they like, whether it's footy, football, footer, futbee, fitbee, soccer, fartball, funderball, funbar, finbar, falla lallalah.
They simply just can....if they want to.

It’s certainly nowhere near as bad as Soccer. Feckn American’s. Why didn’t they call American ‘Football’ (it’s just rugby with protective gear) either American Rugby or name it Soccer?

You know, just about every ball game was invented by the British.
    Football
    Cricket
    Rugby
    Tennis
    Basketball (netball)
    Rounders (baseball)
    Hockey
    Polo
    Billiards
    Table tennis (not sure)
    Golf
    Any more ??

I once heard an American commentator say that Italy was the cradle of football.
