I know and appreciate the fact that you've seen them a lot Roma as your a regular fan of our U23's etc (ohh and speaking of watching the young teams, Roddy the Blunt Currie asked me to say hello to you and everybody else on here, on a Millers v Blunts thread last night lol).
Im not knocking either Vic or Brown, but I am saying they maybe aren't ready to be first team regulars for this season at least. But I won't know their contribution when they have come on as subs.

Out of the two and based on what I've seen at first team level Brown looks more ready than Victor .

Btw, I meant to say "I won't knock their contribution.. ", bloomin predictive text on the phone eh!!.
They've both popped up with goals admittedly, but I just loved how Brown worked his chance and finished it at Peterbrough. That had a real touch of class about it!. Whereas Victor seems to be the Linekar type of striker, who is there at the right time.
Is that a fair description of them both ?.

What's everyone's thoughts on throwing Sunderland a curve ball on tuesday night

    ----------------------------- Davies ------------------

    Pinnock -------------- Jackson -------------- Lindsay

    Brown -----McGeehan ------Mowatt -------Hedges

    ---------------------------- Moncur -----------------------

    ---------------------- Moore ------------- Woodrow --------

I'm looking to outnumber Sunderland in the midfield when we haven't the ball and press the feck out of them and utilise Brown and Hedges to give us some width and a bit of pace when we break .

This allows us to keep the 5 in midfield and play two up top .

Both Pinnock and Lindsay showed on saturday they can cover the outside space as both bailed out Cavare and Pinillos at times yesterday .

    Risky but .........

As the song goes.......4 4 2 with Pottsy on the wing!

Cavare out and Williams in, Bahre out and Woodrow supporting Moore, no other changes.

If it's not working bring on Moncs and go 4 3 1 2

Even though I’m going to Sunderland ( to see friends also). I would have preferred Stendel to have gone all out to win against Donny, and then saved players against Sunderland. Daft as that may seem, I think the loss to The Mackems will he expected in the plan, and a win at home to Donny would have kept the third place and the gap that was appearing. He’s cocked up Royally for me. Losing to your top rivals isn’t always the worst thing if you do better against everyone else than them.
