Pick The Bones Out Of Stendel's Comments Regarding Woodrow

Basically he thinks we have a strong squad so he opted to put him on the bench .

    Bizarre !!!

I don't mind so much with giving lads a rest when there's a big game coming etc if the quality is like for like .

Two years ago it was fine , we had Winnall , Bradshaw , Armstrong and Watkins contending for two slots so it made perfect sense to keep players fresh .

We haven't the depth to be doing this , we've two strikers at the club if the truth be told and nowt else .

Don’t see any issues with what he said, I read it as saying our squad is good enough to be able to rest him.
Don’t agree, but that’s just my view.

I don't agree with him either about us having a strong enough squad, and we certainly can't afford to be dropping a striker who has been bang in form in the last few matches. If it ain't broke herr Stendel, then don't f* about with it!!. Simples.

If we were that strong acido how come he brought Woodrow more or less straight on after Rovers went in front ? .

Surely he would have given it another 15 to 20 minutes and trusted those on the pitch to turn it around before making the changes as the legs went a little .

We aren't strong at all up top and if he can't see that then he's deluded .

Just come back from a bad injury, don’t see the problem not wanting to push him too much too soon. It’s a long season

Despite making a decent start to the season, I think we could all see Victor Addy wasn't the ready made striker just yet, and the same goes with Brown. And the decision to sell Bradshaw felt inevitable as well as daft.
This left us with just Keiffer as the recognised striker didn't it, unless we also want to call Thiam and maybe Hedges as possible strikers instead of wingers ?.
I was getting annoyed then at the constant 'two more weeks' comments as to when this new kid Woodrow was going to start. And now finally just when we might have a good partnership building up between him and Moore, he gets dropped for about 60 minutes in a home local derby match.

That's fair enough , what wa injury ? I like these German lads , i somehow get the feeling Winkler is the main man ? , gerrin to grips with this league betta than I thought , everyone makes mistakes at whatever level of job they do , let's hope its not a regular feature for us ? Yesterday's gone ( thankfully ) let's rattle some points up befoor Chrimbo , 42 would be great , then put foot darn in new year , 94/96 would almost guarantee Promotion !!!!

Don't underestimate the value Big Vic and Brown bring to the squad Acido , i've watched them long enuff to see how there progressing , these lads are keen to improve , and hopefully they will , great to see them given a chance , good onnum and wish them well , i don't think either have let us down this season , when they've played ,
