Agree sns buddy. Bartley looked strong tonight with a couple of essential tackles. Great to see that we have the Hegazi option along the lines you suggest.

It's a difficult one this. Bartley has improved vastly this season and Ajey is extremely promising. However, we do have a tendency to concede too many goals and possibly Hegazi would add a little more stability at the back. As I've said, it's a difficult one and Bilic has to come to a decision. While we are winning, I think that he will stick with the status quo.

That was the point I was going to make as I felt sure Livermore was nearly due a ban so we would have to change the Livermore/Sawyers link somehow. Ajayi could be the way forward especially as Bilic seems wedded to the 4-2-3-1 line up come what may.

Have to say I think it is a bit of a weakness in that sides know how we play and the better ones can come up with strategies to combat it.

You're right teams particularly at home come and play with an extra man in centre midfield which means Livermore and Sawyers are out numbered, our problem is because non of our strikers look like scoring we have to play with 3 other attacking players and if we don't play with tempo we can be easy to play against at the moment the quality of our attacking play is getting us through but at home we need to score 3 goals to win a game.

I said a few weeks ago on here that I would play him in a 5 and let DF and CT (who is coming on leaps and bounds imo) bomb on, I think they would cause mayhem with the opposition confused at to who doing what. Even though we battered sjoke yesterday, I still felt we were going to concede and imo 3 clean sheets from 15 isn't going to get us up so we need our best defender back in ASAP.

Nice problem to have. We want competition. Last season Bartley wasn't even worth handing out the oranges. Bilic is doing some great work here.
