    Hegazi

As there's too much politics on here, (I'm guilty of discussing it more than anyone). How about a Baggies question for everyone for a change....

Would you start Hegazi if fit? And if so, who for...?

In my opinion I wouldn't just yet, I think Bartley and Ajayi have been okay lately. I know we have conceded a few goals, especially at home but I think we were a bit unlucky against Charlton and I wouldn't blame either for the goals conceded v Barnsley.

Another option would be to push Ajayi into a defensive midfielder role and drop Sawyers or Livermore. Again I think both have played pretty well this season.

I've not been Bartley or Livermore's biggest fans in the past, but in my opinion I think they would be a bit hard done by at the moment to be dropped for Hegazi's return.

For me if he is fully fit then Hegazi has to start. Ferguson obviously out maybe change formation to a back 3 but don’t think Bilic likes that. Not seen Stoke this season so haven’t got a clue how they play - are they strong on the wings?

Don’t know what formation to play or who to drop but Hegazi in for me and then work around him.

Agreed, Hegazi's presence in the box and his clearance rate might be called on sooner rather than later though.

    I’ve never rated Hegazi.

He’s got a terrible habit of misjudging crosses from day one at our place.

I’d rather use a motor way bollard!

We have let too many goals in so I would be very tempted to play him. I think he is our best CB.

I would start him but not sure who to leave out. By the end of the season he will always be starting so the sooner he gets back in the better I think.

    Definitely Hegazi in (for Bartley)
Bartley has performed at his best latterly this season, particularly with his clearing headers, but is dreadful positionally and a ‘ball follower’
Hegazi is undoubted the better candidate to marshall our defence and instruct AJ.
It is no coincidence we have a dreadful goal against statistic and we will continue to leak goals when Bartley plays. Sad but true.

So how bad an injury to his toe was it?
I would play him...but we are getting results and established ourselves as a difficult team to beat.....so he better be match fit if he is started...I agree with the Mick...his positioning is dire at times.....

Bartley again tonight the better of the 2 centre half's Hegazi will almost certainly play on Saturday with Ajayi moving into midfield as I think Livermore has now picked up 5 bookings.
